7:48 pm	OOC: Rescue Play-By-Play john__crichton, rogersmith_bigo, _mariel, londo_mollari, and karen_firemage: Watch this thread for OOC messages from your fellow roleplayers! Since we don't all have YIM or AIM, this is as close to a real time conversation as we can get. In the meantime, I hope you all don't mind if I take control a little bit and present a basic outline: Step One: We arrive at the base. rogersmith_bigo will have to crack into the base computer to find out where Londo and Vir are being held. Step Two: Once Londo and Vir are located, we will need to send a boarding party to the base, probably in "Tatyana's" ship. The party will consist of rogersmith_bigo and Dorothy, john__crichton, _talon and his Narn companion, karen_firemage, if her mun is available, and the Black Glory's Centauri physician, who will be played by me. "Tatyana" will pull a ruse to get access to the base. Step Three: Then said members of the boarding party will hurry to the correct holding cell and nab Londo and Vir. Once at the cell, they will meet resistance, also played by me. Londo will be knocked unconscious. Vir will react, probably by doing something suitably heroic and foolish. Roger will turn off everyone's energy weapons and play hell with the lights to give everyone cover. Everyone will move as quickly as possible to "Tatyana's" ship. Step Four: "Tatyana" will pilot her ship as quickly as possible to the Black Glory under fire from Starfuries launched from the base. Once the party reboards the Black Glory, Vir will collapse and be carted to the med bay with the unconscious Londo. Everyone else, meanwhile, will run up to the flight deck to join Zack and defend against the attack from the base. The Black Glory will withstand the attack and jump into hyperspace. 5:46 pm	Hello from hobsonphile: A Rationale Hello, fellow players! hobsonphile (aka the mun for vir_cotto_tm and timov_of_algul) here with a word on the intended purpose of this journal: I joined theatrical_muse as vir_cotto_tm when it first opened, and I've been an active roleplayer in extended B5-centered storylines since... well, since we first began to construct them. *g* And one thing I've noticed over these many months is the fact that, on many occasions, we've been short a player or two. The B5 T_M community is somewhat, shall we say, alien-centric. *g* Which makes a nice counter-balance to the usual in B5 RPG communities I've seen, but considering the fact that B5 is a Human run military outpost and diplomatic center, we have, obviously, felt the lack of our Human compatriots. *g* For example, several of our storylines have required the presence of Dr. Franklin- and since Dr. Franklin as yet has no player on T_M, every trip to the Med Lab has put us in somewhat of a pickle. Now yes, we've managed to work around that in the past, but... ...but I've been thinking recently that it might be advantageous for all of us to use a central handle when we require the input of a character who has not been adopted by a generous mun. I think this will become especially important once certain nefarious plans involving londo_mollari and alfredbester kick into gear (we will certainly need a Sheridan for that at least). And pilotmoya, once we begin your storyline, I will be using this handle to play the various people who will be your new passengers. Obviously, since this handle will be used for many characters, each time we use it, we will have to designate- through icons or through the subject heading- who precisely we are playing. *g* If you all want to designate your characters via icons, I'm willing to buy the space- just let me know.
